What Erecta-Rack Users are Saying:
Tools of the Trade Magazine, Tools Up Close by Scott Burt
As a painting contractor, I am frequently called on to prefinish trim – and for that, I need a drying rack. Over the years, I have built a number of racks that could be broken down and hauled onto the job site, but none of them held much material or were all that portable. About a year ago I began using an Erecta-Rack, a highly portable manufactured rack that holds a lot of material and is easy to set up and break down. Read complete article here.

"The Erecta-Rack is like an adult Lego system. It's that practical. You kind of don't even have to read the instructions, except maybe just to make sure you have the stabilizer bars set properly, and you definitely don't have to be an engineer, or even consult an engineer, to figure out within five minutes how to use the system."

“I love the product. We put it to use right away on January 3rd when our trim arrived. It did not disappoint. We had around 1300 lineal feet of mixed 16', 14', 7' pieces as well as some pre-assembled knock down door jambs with casing to spray and stack. All done with my graco proshot II and Erecta-Rack. Thanks again!!

"In most woodworking shops, space is at a premium. If you could increase the size of your shop, you would. And unless you have oodles of space, I’m willing to bet your finishing room is even more tightly crammed. In fact, many of us move the machines to the side and finish in the same space..... At IWF, in The Finishing Store booth, I found an answer to our problems. If you cannot spread the parts around the shop, you must go vertical. Erecta-Rack has a system that allows you to build layers of shelving to space your parts in an upward fashion, and the price is more than reasonable."

"We recently had the opportunity to try the Erecta Rack System. This allowed us to stack the doors in one central area in a space no larger than one door......It is well designed and sturdy, perfect for doing trim and doors. I think this is something we will get a lot of use out of! Thanks Erecta Rack for a great product."

The Erecta-Rack is fantastic. It really blows the competition out of the water. It is extremely easy to use and everybody on my crew loved it, along with their new shirts! The builder on site mentioned he could really use one. The only thing I didn't like about it is that there was not quite enough of it to hold all the wood so I am going to need to buy a second set. But other than that its perfect, and the case keeps it organized and out of the way from other contractors.

The Erecta-Rack system saved me time and money because of it's ability to "stack up". The timing of finding this great system was perfect because of the tight quarters within a small remodel I am currently working on. I have nearly 1500 lft of base and casing trim to stain and poly and the Erecta-Rack took up only a corner of the room instead of the floor of two 11X11 rooms. I hope to be expanding this rack system in the future as I gain larger jobs for its use. Thanks Erecta-Rack for a superior product!

I wanted to let you know that you have an awesome rack system – we used it today, stacked 'em up ten high! Not only does it work well – it also looks professional on the job when the carpenters show up to install the trim. I used an air assisted airless to spray pre-primed crown molding and baseboard. We used the struts after we got 7 high and they went on real easy. I’ve been in the painting business for over 18 years – 9 as a business owner and 9 as a Sherwin Architectural rep. In those years I’ve seen some worthless products and this one is not!! It made the task yesterday easy! Thanks again.

I just wanted to thank you again for your help. I hand finish a lot of flooring. This next batch of wide plank will be hand scraped and finished with tung oil and beeswax. Making racks has always been a challenge both because of set up time, efficiency and expense. It looks like you nailed all those with this system.

I had a job that had 3100 linear ft of baseboard that needed to be painted, I was able to spray 700 to 900 feet within hours and let them dry on the rack which was a BIG help. I've tried another system this is by far the best for me.
